Rina is a current graduate student at St. John Fisher University’s Mental Health Counseling Master’s program.

Rina has a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy that focuses on working with each client to understand their needs and help them reach their goals. Her therapeutic approach incorporates elements of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Person-Centered Therapy to focus on the client's felt experience, develop effective coping skills, and promote healing and change. Rina is especially interested in helping clients (re)establish an inner sense of safety and healing through breathwork, somatic practices, and other holistic approaches. She also wants to help clients get to the root of the problem to promote deeper healing and an expanded discovery of oneself. Through these methods, Rina creates a space that is safe, warm, and reassuring.

Outside of the therapeutic setting, Rina loves to cook and experiment with new recipes, spend time outdoors, travel to new places, dance, and spend time with her loved ones.
