Megan Syfrett, LMHC-D
she/her
Megan earned her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Sage Graduate School in 2013. Since then, Megan has gained experience working with adolescents, adults, and families and has helped individuals who identify with substance use and addiction concerns, anxiety, relationship issues, family dynamics, codependency, life transitions, neurodivergency, and other related topics.
Megan combines acceptance and commitment therapy, schema-focused therapy, solution-focused, and patient-centered aspects to her approach. Megan wants you to know that it is normal to feel “stuck” sometimes. It doesn’t mean there is something wrong with you or that you are “broken.” It means you are self-aware enough to know you deserve more and want something different. It means you are willing to face the hard things and ask the tough questions- even if you don’t have all the answers.
Megan believes that everyone deserves a space that allows you to be curious about yourself and your relationships, make sense of your experiences, and tap into your strengths in order to feel more confident, be more assertive, and be yourself. Megan would be honored to give you that space and can't wait to hear from you and share this experience with you.
Megan loves spending time with her furbaby, Oliver, and her husband, traveling, reading, binging TV shows, trying new recipes (she loves a good charcuterie), and is an avid Bills fan. Go Bills! Megan identifies as neurodivergent herself and has found a passion in helping others who are neurodivergent or exploring their potential neurodivergency.
