Jessica is a licensed mental health counselor passionate about helping people live a life they enjoy. She earned her Master’s in mental health counseling from St. John Fisher in 2015. Since moving into private practice, Jessica has expanded her education and training, focusing on neurodivergent individuals and couples. This training allows her to better understand and support the unique challenges that neurodivergent individuals face in daily life and relationships.
Jessica's approach to therapy combines psycho-education, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. This and her belief that everyone is the best expert in their own life allow her to help her clients build on their strengths while addressing barriers. She is passionate about helping clients better understand and accept the unique ways their brains work.
When not in session, Jessica loves spending time with her family, out in nature, or doing something creative. Jessica loves dancing and the arts, and reports this has helped her to find the value in the process rather than just the outcome. As an avid hiker and lover of the Adirondack Park, Jessica has completed several hiking challenges and is working on becoming a 46er.
